Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is not expecting Luke Shaw to make a return to action before the next international break cagayan
Left-back Shaw has not played since the 2-0 loss at Tottenham on August 19, United’s second fixture of the season, due to a muscle injury – sitting out nine club games as well as four England matches cagayan
Ten Hag’s men are set to play seven times cagayan between now and England’s next game, against Malta on November 17 cagayan
United have been blighted by injuries in defence, with right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka another who has been sidelined since sustaining an injury against Brighton on September 18 cagayan
Ten Hag said: “Of course they are closer cagayan
(But) for Luke Shaw, I don’t expect him back in this block of games cagayan
Aaron Wan-Bissaka, I don’t think he’s too far away from returning to team training and so back in the team cagayan
”United travel to Bramall Lane to face Sheffield United on Saturday night without Casemiro, who emerged from Brazil’s World Cup qualifiers against Venezuela last Friday and Uruguay five days later with an injury cagayan
“In the first game he came off but then he played the second game, it was an important one,” Ten Hag said of the midfielder, who is suspended for next Tuesday’s Champions League clash with FC Copenhagen cagayan
“I’m sure that game didn’t help him, but it’s a small injury, he’ll return (from Brazil) next week, it will be healed and then he’s ready for our next (league) game (against Manchester City), I’m sure cagayan
”United do have defensive pair Raphael Varane and Sergio Reguilon available again after injury lay-offs, while Tyrell Malacia and Lisandro Martinez are other defenders still sidelined alongside Shaw and Wan-Bissaka cagayan
Ten Hag – whose side have lost six times in all competitions this term and are 10th in the Premier League – has stressed of injuries that he will “never use it as an excuse” but believes it has not helped new goalkeeper Andre Onana settle after a number of mistakes since his summer arrival from Inter Milan cagayan
“Of course when every time you have a different defending line in front of you it is not helpful… but you have to deal with it,” Ten Hag added cagayan
“But it didn’t help for the results and it didn’t help his integration, absolutely cagayan
”Ten Hag has said defender Victor Lindelof is “ready” to play against Sheffield United after his distressing experience earlier in the week cagayan
Lindelof captained the Sweden side whose Euro 2024 qualifier against Belgium in Brussels on Monday was abandoned after two Swedish fans were shot dead and another injured three miles from the stadium cagayan
Ten Hag also indicated there has been no change in terms of Jadon Sancho, who has been training away from the first team, with the club having said that is “pending resolution of a squad discipline issue” cagayan
England’s 3-1 win over Italy on Tuesday saw Marcus Rashford score a fine goal – having netted only once previously this season – and Harry Maguire play the full duration in defence cagayan
Ten Hag said: “I enjoyed the (performances from the) players involved from us – you saw the qualities cagayan
The form the last games was maybe not that good, but I’m sure I will back them, I trust them, I believe in them and I’m sure they’ll be back in very good shape cagayan
”United head into Saturday’s match amid considerable talk about their ownership situation, with Qatari banker Sheikh Jassim last weekend understood to have ended his attempt to buy the club, while INEOS founder Sir Jim Ratcliffe is reportedly looking to purchase a 25 per cent stake that could see him take over cagayan football operations cagayan
Ten Hag said he had not spoken to co-chairman Joel Glazer cagayan
“In this moment I’m not involved so I don’t know cagayan
What I know are the agreements I made once I signed this contract,” he said cagayan
“Until I hear anything I just keep focusing on my job, in this structure, and that is winning games and get the best out of the season cagayan

Michael Schumacher’s family lawyer Felix Damm has revealed the reason no “final report” has been publicised on the F1 star’s health: “It’s all about protecting private things cagayan
”The seven-time Formula 1 world champion has not been seen publicly since suffering a near-fatal brain injury while skiing in December 2013 in Meribel, France cagayan
His wife Corinna has insisted on protecting Schumacher’s privacy in the near 10 years since, with his medical condition shrouded in secrecy as he continues to recover at home in Switzerland cagayan
Damm, who acts as a representative for the Schumacher family, has now given more detail as to why those close to the Ferrari icon don’t want to publicise details about his health cagayan
“It was always about protecting private things,” Damm told German outlet LTO cagayan
“We considered whether a final report about Michael’s health could be the right way to do this cagayan
“But that wouldn’t have been the end of it and there would have had to be constantly updated ‘water level reports’ and it would not have been up to the family when the media interest in the story stopped cagayan
”The lawyer also emphasised how the precedent of “voluntary self-disclosure” would have made the past 10 years even more difficult for the Schumacher family should intricate health details be made public cagayan
Damm added: “They [the media] could pick up on such a report again and again and as ‘and what does it look like now?’ one, two, three months or years after the message cagayan
If we then wanted to take action against this reporting, we would have to deal with the argument of voluntary self-disclosure cagayan

“Therefore, the data subject can defend himself against disclosure of private circumstances even if the information comes from an acquaintance cagayan
”Former Ferrari boss Jean Todt has a close relationship with the Schumacher family, revealing last year he has seen the German three times a week on some occasions – adding that the 54-year-old is in the “best of hands… surrounded by people who love him cagayan
”Todt also said as recently as last July that he still watches F1 races with Schumacher despite the German’s unknown medical state cagayan
“I don’t miss Michael, I see him,” Todt told German broadcaster RTL cagayan
“Yes, it’s true, I watch grand prix with Michael cagayan
But sure, I guess what I miss is what we used to do together cagayan

Todt is a close friend of Schumacher’s since their time working together during a successful era at Ferrari, when the German won five of his seven world titles from 2000-2004 cagayan
In April, an editor of a German magazine was sacked after the Die Aktuelle publication used artificial intelligence to produce fake quotes from Schumacher cagayan
The magazine was labelled “disgraceful” by fans cagayan online for depicting the AI responses as an “exclusive interview” on their 15 April front cover cagayan
In a Netflix documentary which aired in 2021 titled Schumacher, Corinna detailed how his family have dealt with the situation and continue to “get on with their lives cagayan

Different, but he’s here, and that gives us strength, I find,” Corinna said cagayan
“We’re together cagayan
We live together at home cagayan
We do therapy cagayan
We do everything we can to make Michael cagayan better and to make sure he’s comfortable cagayan
And to simply make him feel our family, our bond cagayan
And no matter what, I will do everything I can cagayan
We all will cagayan
“We’re trying to carry on as a family, the way Michael liked it and still does cagayan
And we are getting on with our lives cagayan
‘Private is private’, as he always said cagayan
“It’s very important to me that he can continue to enjoy his private life as much as possible cagayan
Michael always protected us and now we are protecting Michael cagayan
”Corinna was in attendance to collect an award last July on behalf of husband Michael, with daughter Gina and Todt joining her to collect the State Prize of North Rhine-Westphalia - the highest civilian honour available to those born within the region cagayan
Schumacher holds the joint-record for the most Formula 1 world titles with Lewis Hamilton cagayan
